Michael & Cora Betts Legacy Foundation

We were so honored when the South Jeffco Sports Association renamed their Director's Tournament after Michael & Cora.  Michael's former teammates approached SJSA with the request that one of the home tournaments could be renamed in honor of both Michael and Cora.  Not only was this a wonderful honor, but it showed us how much the spirit of sportsmanship was exemplified by Michael and all the people he played with.  His team, the Thunderbolts, went on to win their division in the 2008 tournament, and they did it all with the hope of making Michael proud.  They certainly made all of the coaches and parents proud, and Michael and Cora were watching them as they gave their best and received their trophies.
