The 2nd Annual Cora Betts Royal Ball

The Michael & Cora Betts Legacy Foundation would like to thank everyone who participated in the Cora Betts Royal Ball.

Saturday, October 17 was a magical evening with music, dancing, and little and big princes and princesses enjoying a wonderful evening. For the second year in a row, we had unusually warm weather making the evening perfect for the arriving guests. Kids and adults alike were dressed in everything from their best dresses and suits to costumes of their favorite Disney characters. Some were dressed in matching outfits, while others donned their capes and crowns.

Our fabulous "ladies & lords" (aka volunteers) greeted our guests with smiles and helped make the evening run smoothly. They helped kids sing karaoke and color in the kid's room. They assisted our guests at the silent auction. And as the evening came to a close, while sleepy princes and princesses were being carried to their coaches, the volunteers added to the evening by dancing the night away.

The evening of entertainment began with a splendid performance by Columbine Blue. The kids loved watching the High School performance choir sing and dance.

Soon after, Brad Colerick took the stage. He opened with "There", bringing tears to many. But then he moved into some of his other songs, showing everyone what a great artist he is.

The night continued with dancing and music provided by Mark McDonald of Complete Music.

The Cora Betts Royal Ball (A Family Affair)

The Cora Betts Royal Ball is a formal affair just like other charity balls you may have attended, but with a unique twist – your children are all welcome to attend! Princesses and Princes of all ages (as well as their Kings and Queens) all share in the evening’s fun activities.
